KENNETH MCGILL, CPG, PG joins Trident Environmental as a Senior Professional Geologist.
Ken will manage assigned projects, coordinate with project personnel, provide senior technical assistance to staff and project oversight, develop investigation and remediation strategies, prepare client and regulatory reports, assess soil and groundwater remediation designs, as well as review field and lab analysis of soil, groundwater, surface water and sediment. He also provides Certified Professional Geologist (CPG) and Pennsylvania Professional Geologist (PG) services for the firm’s clients.
Mr. McGill brings over 30 years of extensive technical and regulatory experience working on USEPA CERCLA, TSCA, NPDES, and RCRA projects, PADEP Act 2, and NJDEP ISRA/LSRP projects in New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. He has completed site investigation and remediation projects involving contaminated soil, groundwater, surface water and sediment and has experience investigating and remediating petroleum hydrocarbons, heavy metal and chlorinated solvent impacts at lagoons, landfills, defense facilities, industrial plants, commercial properties and Superfund sites. In addition, Ken has directed numerous hydrogeologic evaluations; soil, surface water, and groundwater sampling; site characterizations; extent of contamination studies; removal alternatives evaluation; and remediation at manufactured gas plants and other hazardous waste sites.
As a senior hydrogeologist and project manager, Ken has managed and conducted hydrogeologic investigations, aquifer storage and recovery assessments, groundwater studies, hazardous waste and waste impoundment site investigations, removal and remediation projects, and subsurface drilling programs. He has assessed cleanup strategies, negotiated investigation and remediation agreements with regulators and developed technical proposals. He is a court-admitted expert and has provided fact and expert testimony at trial.
Ken received his B.S. Degree in Geology from the Upsala College in New Jersey and has completed Graduate Studies in Hydrogeology from Wright State University in Ohio and Groundwater Modeling from Drexel University in Pennsylvania. He is a Licensed Professional Geologist in the State of Pennsylvania and a Certified Professional Geologist of the American Institute of Professional Geologists.
